  • why arent you wearing an antistatic strap when handling memory.?????????????????

  • tigerdirectblog<<—-i visit ur site. but i cant find or i just cant figure out whats the amount of ram i can put on my notebook. im using acer aspire 5610AWLMi. in ur memory configurator you have 5601AWLMi but dont have 5610. im wondering if the amount of ram i can put on my 5610 is just the same with 5601.thanks

  • 0:40 LOL

  • Tyvm for the video Albert! You helped me so much! I’m gonna go get a RAM chip soon and put it in.

  • Thanks for posting video! Easy to follow instructions!

  • WTF that will ruin your system!

  • windows doesnt start up cuz im using a 32bit os

  • yeah you have to delete system32 in the windows folder.

  • yeah remove the 1GB chip

  • easy shit.lol

  • if you have a 32 bit OS then the max is 3 GB you will need to upgrade to a 64 Bit OS for 4 to work.

  • unplug evrything, let it run like 5% power left and shut down manually, then let it run dead

  • i got a problem

i went from 1GB DDR2 to 3GB DDR2 with my acer aspire, i had an extra ram slot so i bought a 2GB DDR2, which made my laptop a 3Gigger, i was amazed of how fast it was, so i went to buy another 2Gigger, and had the two 2GB DDR2 installed “personally”, and found out that, my acer aspire could not start up, is there like a way to not have to use the 1GB DDR2, and have two 2DDR2 running as “4GB ram”?

  • check the lock switch, my laptop has one.

  • Could you just run your battery dead? Mine wont come out.

  • there is speed of a ddr2 you might not have changed the speed of the memory so it will only help if the speed of the new ram is better and it is supported by the laptop motherboard
