Thansk for the Video going to this instead of SSD HDD, cause they expensive. Its’ for my ancient Latitude CPx. I’m getting a 4gb Sandisk 300x CF card for the OS for some raw speed. Thana Sandisk 16gb 133x for storage.
I’m about to do the same on a tablet pc so and was wondering how you did with that convertion. It’s been a time so it’s well tested isn´t it?:).
My doubts are if the CF have worked well or have failed at any task annnd if it last at all because I read that those CF’s has a limit of 1.000.000 r/w access or so and that’s a “reason” to go on a SSD drive (wich is …a much expensive thing:)
just out of curiosity, any heat issues? I had an older HP Jornada which I used as a mediocre mp3 player, I noticed the flash cards became pretty warm/hot after an hour or two of use
it is a replacement for you hdd, there is a desktop and a laptop version. Take out your heavy, fragile HDD and install this as you master hdd. I’m ordering my at the weekend. installing a car pc to my car
