Gateway C-140X, C140XL Tablet PC Convertible Notebook Review
Review of Gateway Tablet PC / Convertable Notebook wich allows you to do amazing things such as write on the screen and still use the laptop to do all home pc functions such as internet, burn and watch DVD’s, play high graphic content games ecetera. My model comes with Intel Core 2 Duo Centrion processor T7500 model chipset @ 2.2 ghz of speed. It has been configured with 4 Ghz RAM and has a fingerprint reader with bluetooth 2.0. All of thes machines come with a 14.1 inch monitor which is the largest monitor for a tablet PC of this calibur. The ATI radeon X2300HD graphics card keeps all of my PC’s hardware and software running smoothly. Please comment and enjoy. This is a 5 or 6 part series! Please comment to provide feedback.

@Phantom11530 first of all laptops and such dont have video cards they won’t fit, the just have the gpu not the video card. second of all in some you can.

boring! ut the laptop is amazing. they need to make it look a little better tho! are there more tablets like this one that look better!
This laptop may look crappy, but it’s VERY powerful! I have this exact one, and I LOVE IT!!
i just got a hp tc1100…witch is a 2004 hybrid tablet pc…..for about 300$, amazing since it’s as powerful as a netbook, but with the added tablet feature.
I have the 143xl and it is amazing fast and works perfectly!!!

I found the hinge to be too weak, but all in all, i think this Tablet Pc is a good laptop.
can you play a game on it to see how it works? oh, and where did you buy this one? it seems any other place this ones are not configurable. is what you see is what you get kind of deal. i would love to put a stronger graphics cards. also, i have been reading bad stuff about gateway’s costumer service. i want to get this or the p series one. help me please. ps. is it pressure sensitive? i do photoshop a lot.

thanks for the great review. i will probably buy this. only thing im wondering is if the ati radeon 2300 card is good enough to run not very demanding games like halo 2. please let me know the total video memory of your card because im not sure if this card uses shared memory.
