iPad can do a lot but mac books can do more. But one of the main reasons apple made it is to make it better than a net book that’s what they were aiming for.
ok the laptops can do WAY more then any ipad because if im right ipads CANNOT support flash and it cannot run more then one app (well thats what i heard) but you can a run alot more
@naysoj actually theres an app out called cloudbrowse and its basically your separate browser that comes with flash player you can view different videos from different websites play addicting games, games and do different things like that if you want me to do an app review on it i would be more then happy to just pm me

What an idiot. The ipad will lever be a laptop killer. As long as apple keeps pumping out that ball sac of an os on a tablet platform, it will continue to be extremely lacking. We all know that a full os on an apple tablet is coming. Heck ever since you the iphone you knew it was coming. The ipad IS tons of fun to play with!, but ultimately until it gets an os, it’s just one extremely overpriced luxury item. I sure can’t wait til it comes. I have no doubt it will revolutionize personal computing
@senyio1 Hey there senyio. I mean laptops (mainly PC) are open source (in a way people, don’t fight me on this one). The IPad it a sweet tablet with good graphics and high tech everything, just you cannot really *create* things. As you said (seniyio) you cannot play WOW on the IPad. Its because all things must go threw apple before it goes to the system. To do this you can jailbreak, but major companies will probably not release for a jailbreak (cydia) applicatoin.

Of course by then, the iPad will probably have upgraded.

Can I connect my printer to the Ipad? what about going on my hols and putting the pics I take on it while im there? oh and what if I need to play some of the games I have such as Crysis on it? umm as good as the Ipad looks I dont see how it can replace my laptop unless they put usb ports and a internal hdd in it. Maybe a cool gadget in edition to a laptop though.
