hi, i am just wondering how you repair Cable number 6 ( power connector?), because my iphone 3g cable number 6 got broken from the mother board …please reply come thank you … and do any one know where i can buy my iphone parts beside ebay ???

so i disassembled the iphone 3g and assembled it back together just to look inside. i made sure all the connectors were back in place.
now i can’t turn on my phone. when i plug it into the wall charger, the apple logo appears for 2 seconds and then turns off. i tried to do a hard reset and it shows the “connect to itunes” logo and it stays there. the problem is when i disconnect the usb, the phone shuts off.
I plugged the phone into my laptop, but it won’t start up either! help!!!
i cant put the cable 3 where it was? i dont know how please help

You could have a problem with your logic board.
Take a very close look (magnifying glass if available) at the dock connector. I had a similar problem, and finally took a look and discovered that one of the pins in the dock connector had gotten bent over sideways. I straightened it out with a small knife (x-acto), and now all is well. Best of luck to you.
Sorry to post about something else, but I’m desperate.
My Iphone won’t sync – there is a hardware problem but i’m not sure what to do. I have reinstalled itunes and checked all the cables. My partners iphone syncs on the same setup.
My phone charges but data transfer is impossible.
The phone was dropped, could wires that are only related to data transfer com off? Anyone any ideas?
