Gaming Computer Showcase: Intel i7-980X Gulftown w/ dual Sapphire HD5970s in CROSSFIREX
Long awaited review of my Gaming computer. It is done with my new HD Camera…but a less than stellar HD Camera. The JVC-GCFM1. The camera does fine, but needs a lot of light to show a good picture. My specs are in the opening credits. Enjoy!

@Trubyd44 Thanks, I’ll try that we are using the same motherboard and ram acutally, just I have a 920.
@Helltech Yes I did…and I didn’t have any problems overclocking. I thought I would, but I didn’t. Be sure to put your memory into 2T mode though. Some BIOS’s call it 2N…but you can’t run 1T/1N with 6 sticks usually. Hope this helps.
Great video! Curious, did you ever upgrade to 12gb of ram? I am using 12gb of the same ram and now I can’t overclock my 920 at all.

@Malviris That is not true. You give me any set of ATI cards and put a 980X with it and it will beat anything AMD has with the same cards. You are right it would seem to be better to use Intel and Nvidia though…look at my latest build.
Why are you using Intel with ATI? that doesnt give you all you can get from your pc ….they are exact matches ….if you did Nvidia and Intel than that would work alittle better …ATI works best with AMD CPUs.
Can you point me out to where you got your watercooling parts like the block and tubing and clamps also coolant and that neat pump/tank beside your computer. I need an LGA 1366 waterblock to be specific. also do you think that pump/tank is overkill for watercooling a CPU only? Thanks a lot and great computer.
