  Thanks so much! I had a virus that pretended to look like a virus scanner that did not let me close it from task manager. I disconnected it from the internet and did system restore. Now i have no files but no files. So what now? Am i still infected? I am downloading these programs.

  i heard of this program from a friend, the Malware Bytes one, and i was reluctant at first because i use “avast!” but i found over 300 different things with one scan with Malware Bytes. thank you!

  Check the extention chord its plugged to. Reset it or unplug it and plug it back in and try restarting your pc. Sometimes the chord is bad.
