MWC: Samsung shows the Wave phone
Samsung kicked off this year’s Mobile World Congress show in Barcelona on Sunday by unveiling Wave. The phone’s most eye-catching feature is a 3.3-inch OLED screen that offers richer colors than the LCD screens found on many other cell phones. The screen is protected by a piece of tempered glass that has an anti-smudge coating so users shouldn’t have to spend too much time cleaning off fingerprints.
@bathellfire Dude apple never created the black background, no one did, because it’s what anyone would do with icons on the screen, having a black background.

If you are too blind to see that the UI in this device is very similar to what Apple’s got – i think we just need to stop this discusison.
Did Apple invent icons on black background? well.. when it comes to phones, how they look (with dock on the bottom) and scrollable “screens” – then yes, they did come up with that. They introduced it in 2007 and there was nothing like it.
So weather you like it or not, this phone is an iPhone wannabe. Including Symbian 4, Android, WinMo etc.

Wow. Samsung decided not to spend much time on UI R&D. They just copied Apple with one major innovation. They got 3 icons per row, not 4.
